Kim Dunn Obituary

Kimberly Dunn, 64, of Shubert, NE, passed away February 24, 2026 at Lincoln, NE. She was born February 13, 1962 at Falls City, NE to Gene and Jeannine (Shafer) Hanika

She married Randy Dunn on September 18, 1982 at Shubert Christian Church.

Kim was raised East of Shubert and attended country school and graduated from Southeast Consolidated High School in 1980. She worked at Earl May and Midland Villa Nursing home before marriage. She continued working in the medical field at various hospitals and nursing homes in the area until becoming employed at Jonesbrook as a Med Aide in 2015. She continued working there until September of 2025 when she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She will be remembered for her sassy spirit and hard work ethic. She was a member of Shubert Christian Church.

Kim is survived by her husband, Randy of Shubert, children, Shayla Hammer and her husband Bobby and Evan and his wife Hillary both of Shubert, sister, Tonda Jones and her husband Ronald of Des Moines, IA, brother-in-law, Junior Dunn of Dodge City, KS, grandchildren, Lane and Ryder Dunn, nephews and her dog, Brian. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Marla Dunn

Her funeral will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor David Lockard officiating. Interment will be in Prairie Union Cemetery.

Family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-6:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.

Viewing will begin on Saturday afternoon until 5:00 PM and Sunday from noon until 6:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
