Larry Kirkendall

Larry Kirkendall, 81, of Falls City, NE, passed away January 16, 2026 at Falls City. He was born February 5, 1944 at Falls City to James and Lois (Lilly) Kirkendall

Larry was raised on a farm one mile east of Falls City until moving into the family home in 1987. He lived there until becoming a resident of Falls City Care Center in 2014. He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at 20th and Towle St.

Larry is survived by a sister-in-law, Janet Kirkendall of Minnesota and several nieces, nephews and cousins and loved by many. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Gene, Donald, Milford and Raymond Kirkendall and Lois Peck.

His funeral will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul’s Evangelical Church at 20th and Towle St. with Pastor Joanna Kathol officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

Viewing and open visitation will begin Tuesday afternoon until 7:00 PM and on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 7:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
