Laura Prosser

Laura Prosser, 61, of Falls City, NE, passed away January 30, 2023 at Lincoln, NE. She was born May 8, 1961 to Ernest J. and Ethel G. (Durfee) Prosser.

Laura was raised at Falls City and graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1979. Following graduation she attended the University of Nebraska at Lincoln and then returned to Falls City and worked at the Southeast Nebraska Telephone Company for many years. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Laura is survived by her brothers, Jeffrey Prosser and his wife Dawn of Maryland, Michael Prosser of Falls City, James Allen who was like the son she never had, two nieces and nephews, a great-niece Tatum whom was Laura's God Daughter and two great-nephews, aunts Elsie Jenkins and Karen Durfee, cousin, Ronald Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Caleb Hile as the presiding priest. Inurnment will be in Falls City Catholic Cemetery.
