Leora Runkles

Leora Runkles, 78, of Falls City, NE, passed away June 7, 2023 at Falls City. She was born November 23, 1944 at Sylvan Grove, KS to John Franklin and Leona (Sulsar) Cuffman

She married William Runkles Sr. in 1970 at Nebraska City.

Leona was raised in Sylvan Grove. When married the couple established their home in Nebraska City and had lived in Auburn and in 1994 they moved to Falls City and she has lived here since.  She was a homemaker.

Leora is survived by her husband, William, Sr., of Falls City, son, William, Jr. of Falls City, five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Christina Ahlquist, brother, John Cuffman, sisters, Sharon Massey and Betty Watson.

Leora has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
