Linda Gowe

Linda Gowe,  83, of Falls City, NE, passed away October 16, 2024 at Falls City. She was born August 20, 1941 at Omaha, NE to Edward Swanson and Bette Cook.

She married Doug Halbert in 1958 and they were later divorced. She then married Ernest Gowe in 1973 at Omaha, NE. He passed away October 12, 2010.

Linda was raised in Omaha; she was a homemaker her whole life. When she married Mr. Gowe, the couple made their home in Omaha and they later moved to Miami. When Mr. Gowe retired, they moved back to Omaha and in 1999 they moved to Falls City and she has lived here since.

Linda is survived by her son, Dave Halbert of Omaha, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Carl Marrs, sons, Doug and Steve Halbert and four step-sisters.

Linda has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
