Luceal Ann McCracken, 83, of Falls City, NE, passed away September 21, 2022 at Falls City. She was born February 1, 1939 at Farmersville, TX to Jack and Bessie (McCullough) Fredenburg.
She married Thomas Baker Fowler on December 19, 1956 at Colorado City, TX. To this union 4 children were born. The couple divorced in 1973. She then married George McCracken on October 26, 1974 at Muskogee, OK. He passed away July 1, 2012
Luceal was raised in Colorado City and graduated high school there in 1956. She found work in the banking and finance industry until finding her calling as an administrator of a daycare. She also assisted with bookkeeping and secretarial duties for her husband’s business. She retired in 1999. She moved in with her daughter in 2016. She loved to play piano and sing at church and family gatherings.
Luceal is survived by her children, Debbie Raney and her husband Randy of Shubert, NE, Dana Kraft and her husband Pat of Falls City, Diana Hamilton and her husband Carl of Ft. Stockton, TX, Tim McCracken and his wife Treesa of Booneville, AR, Rod McCracken and his wife Teresa of Kentucky, several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her her parents, husband, sons, Thomas Dean Fowler, Audie “Toby” McCracken and three brothers.
Luceal’s body has been cremated and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Hader officiating.
