Marcella Lock

Marcella Lock, 90, of Falls City, NE, passed away March 2, 2023 at Falls City. She was born September 11, 1932 at Barada, NE to August and Lillian (Wenz) Schulenberg.

She married Karl Lock in 1955 at Falls City. He passed away December 16, 2021

Marcella was raised in the Preston, NE area. She worked at the Falls City Creamery and Belmont Casket factory for many years, then for Rico Business Forms and was well known for working in the kitchen at Ketter Manor, retiring in 1993 due to her health. She was a member of Lighthouse Fellowship Church.

Marcella is survived by her sister, Linda Wiar of Falls City, a sister-in-law, Betty Schulenberg of Falls City, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Deanie, husband, brothers, August, Roger and David Schulenberg, sisters, Marvelle Foster and Meredith Seffron.

A joint memorial service will be held for Marcella and Karl on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Cliff Acker officiating. They will both be inurned at Rulo Cemetery. Military graveside honors for Karl will be conducted by Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.
