Marcille M (Ernst) Veigel

Marcille M. Veigel 96 of Falls City, NE, passed away December 26, 2019 at Falls City.  She was born November 12, 1923 to Albert and Josephine (Futscher) Ernst at Falls City.  On September 23, 1947 she married Edwin Veigel at the Zion United Church of Christ, Northeast of Falls City.

Marcille was raised on a farm North of Rulo and attended rural school.  Following her schooling she worked in a sewing factory. When married the couple established their home on the family farm.  She was a homemaker and a farm wife, helping with the farming and the milk cows.  She moved into Falls City in 2019.

She is survived by son, Merle and his wife Sara of Falls City, daughters, Ellen Focht and her husband John of Lincoln, NE, Charlotte Bachman and her husband Lyle and Bonnie Fauss and her husband John both of Tulsa, OK, brother, Eugene Ernst and his wife Kay of Falls City, sister, Arlene Henke of Falls City, 10 Grandchildren and 15 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Grandson, Timothy Bachman, Great-grandson Bennett Fauss and a brother Wilbur Ernst.

Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at 10:30 AM, at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Derek Effle officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.  Family will receive friends on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
