Margaret Jones

Margaret “Margy” Jones, 92, of Falls City, NE, passed away May 9, 2026 at Falls City. She was born September 26, 1933 at Rulo, NE to Herman and Louise (Volk) Wulf.

She married John “Junior” Jones in 1955. He passed away April 16, 1988.

Margy was raised in the Richardson County area and graduated from Hiawatha High School in 1952. Following graduation, she worked for Jones and Jones Construction, then at Mutt and Jeff’s. She purchased Modern Cleaners in the 70’s and operated the dry cleaners until her retirement in the 1990’s. She continued sewing and altering clothes after her retirement until entering the nursing home. She also provided respite care for people in their homes. She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, president of Fellowship of Area Churches and served on other various church organizations.

Margy is survived by her sister, Helen Ruth Williams of Sheridan, WY and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter, Debbie Baker, son, Jerry, four half-sisters, three brothers and three sisters.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 12:30 PM at Steele Cemetery with Pastor Grant Speece officiating.

No viewing or visitation. Friends may sign a register book during regular business hours at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
