Margie Fleskoski

Margie Fleskoski, 91, of Falls City, NE, passed away March 5, 2025 at Falls City. She was born August 4, 1933 at Salem, NE to Henry and Fleeda (Stafford) Herold.

She married Joseph P. Fleskoski on July 3, 1951 at Falls City. He passed away May 10, 2009.

Margie was raised at Salem and graduated Salem High School in 1950. Following graduation, she attended Peru State Teachers College for a year. When married the couple established their home in Salem and she worked as a clerk at Fleskoski’s Food Basket. Later, she worked as a clerk for the auctions with her husband at Fleskoski’s Auction. She and her husband also owned Bi-Rite Liquor for 20 years. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters, Altar Society and the DOES. She was a long-time member of the Falls City Catholic Cemetery Board.

Margie is survived by her children, Susan Catlett and her husband Norm of Ralston, NE, Joe and his wife Chris of Seneca, SC, Mark and his wife Sally of Straussville, NE, Jan Rankin and her husband Tad of Hiawatha, KS, nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Chuck Herold.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Jim Meysenburg as the presiding priest. Interment will be in Falls City Catholic Cemetery.

A Parish Rosary will be recited on Monday at 7:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the rosary. A Catholic Daughters Rosary will be recited on Monday at 4:00 P.M. at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
