Marjean Werner

Marjean Werner, 94, of Falls City, NE, passed away August 13, 2020 at Falls City. She was born January 31, 1926 in rural Falls City to Leslie and Anna (Deckinger) Bippes. 

She married Richard “Blondie” Werner on January 20, 1952 at Falls City. He passed away October 1, 1988

Marjean was raised east of Falls City and graduated Falls City High School in 1944. She started working at Falls City Creamery and worked there until it closed. When married the couple established their home in Falls City and she has lived here since. In 1988 she took employment as a bookkeeper for Mr. Automotive, retiring in 2018. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and was a 20 year member of the Falls City Volunteer Ambulance Squad and had been choir director and played organ at Immanuel Methodist Church.

Marjean is survived by her son, David of Falls City, brother, Kenneth Bippes and his wife Glenda of Falls City, two grandchildren, Dan and Adrienne Werner and a great-grandchild. She was precede in death by her parents, husband, son, Daniel and a sister, Virginia Elwonger.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Hader officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

Open visitation and viewing will begin Saturday noon until 5:00 PM and Sunday from noon until 7:00 PM.
