Marjorie Noa

Marjorie Noa, 93, of Falls City, NE, passed away July 17, 2023 at Falls City. She was born April 30, 1930 at Shubert, NE, to Marion and Freida (Wolfe) Boatman.

She married Carrol Noa on August 29, 1948 at Humboldt, NE. He passed away January 1, 2011.

Marjorie was raised in rural Shubert and moved into Falls City at the age of 16 where she graduated from Falls City High School in 1948. Following graduation, she worked at the Falls City High School as a secretary and when married the couple established their home near Shubert where she became a homemaker and farm wife. The couple also lived in Stella and Nemaha before she moved into Falls City in 2011. She was a member of the Stella Community Church and lifelong member of the Community Workers.

Marjorie is survived by her children, Pamela Sue Mayfield and her husband Ron of Vonore, TN, Steven and his wife Heather of Shubert, NE, sister, Laritta West of Falls City, sister-in-law, Sandy Boatman of Falls City, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren who adored their grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Harlan Boatman.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Stella Community Church. Interment will be in Prairie Union Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-7:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
