Mark Brewer

Mark Brewer, 52, of Falls City, NE, passed away November 19, 2021 at Falls City after a 2 1/2 years battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born January 27, 1969 at Falls City to Fred and Dorothy (Scholl) Brewer.

He married Becky Huppert on July 18, 1992 at Falls City.

Mark was raised at Falls City and graduated Falls City High School in 1987. Following graduation he started farming with his father and continued with his father and brother, Scott, on the family farm his entire life. In addition to farming, Mark also operated a bulldozer, excavator and had boom lifts he rented. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Falls City Catholic Cemetery Board. He served on the Rural Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a member of the NK Pullers Association, was active in the Jaycees and had a love for tractor pulling, helped with local tractor pulls and assisted in preparing the local Jaycee track for competition, earning awards for “Track of the Year” and a member of the Rulo Boat Club.

Mark is survived by his wife, Becky of Falls City, children, Sydney, Justin and Alexis all of Falls City, siblings, Scott and his wife Trish of Falls City, Michelle Becker and her husband Dennis of Seneca, KS and Nicole McAfee of Falls City.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Father Lawrence Stoley as the presiding priest. Interment will be in Falls City Catholic Cemetery.

INSTEAD OF SENDING FLOWERS THE FAMILY PREFERS MEMORIALS BE MADE TO FAMILY CHOICE FOR LATER DESIGNATION.

A Parish Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 6:00 PM at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The family will receive friends following the rosary at Tiehen Gymnasium

A Celebration of Mark's life will take place following the committal service at the "Brewer Shop".
