Mary Chandler

Mary Chandler, 80, of Falls City, NE, passed away February 11, 2025. She was born May 10, 1944 at Humbolt, NE to Everett and Ruby (Boydston) Watkins. 

She married Gene Chandler January 29, 1961at Sabetha, KS, he passed away July 2, 2020.

Mary was raised in the Sabetha area. After she was married her and her husband made their home in Sabetha. They then moved to Falls City in 1967. They lived in various places and is best known for owning Mary’s Daycare in Falls City for many years. Mary was also a dietary aide at Midland Villa Nursing Home and had other odd jobs. She loved to crochet in her free time.  

Mary is survived by her children, Jeff and his wife Donna of Garnett, KS, Sheila Seager and her husband Terry of Topeka, KS, Kim Chandler of Tulsa, OK, Jaime Frederick of Falls City, Ne, son-in-law, Jeff Ferris of Salem, NE, brothers, Doug Watkins of Hiawatha, KS, Dennis Watkins of Horton, KS, sister, Wanda Moore of Horton, KS. Fifteen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Proceeded in death by parents, husband, son, Ricky in infancy, brother, David Watkins, and a daughter, Tina Ferris.
