Michael James Dunn

Michael James Dunn, 61, of Falls City, NE, passed away May 4, 2024 at Falls City. He was born September 25, 1962 at Omaha, NE to James and Joyce Irene (Strinz) Dunn.

Michael was raised in Omaha and graduated from Westside High School in 1981. He then attended nursing school at College of St. Mary’s. He worked for Marriott Hotels for many years before become employed in the medical field as a CNA, mostly working in nursing homes; including Falls City Nursing and Rehab, where was a van driver, since 2021. He was a member of First Christian Church.

Michael is survived by his wife, Michelle Navarrett of Omaha, brothers, Kevin of DeSoto, KS, Larry and his wife Chantel of Malvern, IA and a niece, Rosie Joyce Dunn, nephew, Brodie Crockett of Norfolk, VA and five step-children. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Patrick in infancy.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 10:10 AM (that is not a misprint) at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at Prairie Union Cemetery at Shubert, NE.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the Humane Society.
