Myron Nussbaum

Myron G. Nussbaum, 88, of Falls City, NE, passed away July 10, 2024 at Falls City. He was born November 4, 1935 at Verdon, NE to Glenn and Ruby (Zimmerman) Nussbaum.

He married Mary Helen Krueger on November 13, 1955 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Church, north of Falls City. She passed away October 25, 2022.

Myron was raised at Verdon and following his schooling, he started farming with his father. He then became employed by Frontier Homes and then Gerhardt’s Electrical, Falls City Hospital and for Mill Wrights 1529 out of Kansas City for seven years, he retired in 2003. He enjoyed fishing and pulling lawnmowers. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

Myron is survived by his children, Joyce Nussbaum and her spouse Kim McDaniel of Box Elder, SD, William and his wife Amy of Falls City, Dan and his wife Michelle of Falls City, brother Rolland  and his wife Dora of Falls City, six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers, Lyle and Dennis.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Verdon Cemetery with Pastor Ken Humphrey officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the Verdon Cemetery.

The family has requested attendees dress casually and weather appropriate.
