Patricia "Pat" Scott Obituary

Patricia “Pat” Scott, 86, of Falls City, NE, passed away August 21, 2024 at Falls City. She was born September 7, 1937 at Iowa Point, KS to Delmar and Margaret (Butner) Painter.

She married Clarence “Scotty” Scott on October 7, 1955 at Falls City. He passed away July 15, 2022.

Pat moved to Highland, KS as an infant and graduated Highland High School in 1955. When married the couple established their home in Falls City where she worked in the County Clerk’s Office for 30 years, serving as Deputy Register of Deeds from 1984 until her retirement in 1991. She was a member of Bethel Global Methodist Church, served as secretary and president of South School PTA, secretary of BPW, member of National Guard Auxiliary, president of Falls City Fire Department Auxiliary, member of Rebeccas, taught Sunday School and Bible School.

Pat is survived by her children, Randy and his wife Pam of Falls City, Ann Crosby and her husband Pat of Kansas City, MO, Mike and his wife Cindy of Falls City, grandchildren, Ben, Jason, Joe, Dillion and Avery Scott, great-grandchildren, Parker, Hazel and Everett. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister in infancy.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Bethel Global Methodist Church with Pastor Mike Hader officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 4-5:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
