Patrick Schulenberg

Patrick Schulenberg, 61, of Rulo, NE, passed away March 6, 2025 at Rulo. He was born April 10, 1963 at Falls City to Richard and Mary (Buchanan) Schulenberg

He married Brenda Popejoy on November 11, 2011 at Rulo

Patrick was raised in Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1982. He worked various jobs until becoming employed by Humboldt Grain, Bobcocks at Hiawatha, KS & the Iowa Tribe. He was a member of the Riverside Fellowship Church.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Brenda Popejoy-Schulenberg of Rulo, daughters, Misty Popejoy and her husband Joe of Rulo, Wendy Fisher and her husband Robert of Humboldt, NE, Taylor Gryder and her husband Jacob of Falls City, brother, Jim and his wife Dotti of Liberty, MO, Jan Becker of Omaha, Marylynn Frye and her husband Les of Oklahoma, Sara Norton and her husband Ben of Illinois, grandchildren, Tabitha (Christian)Tollefson, Dylan Schulenberg, Madison Popejoy, Taiton Bachman, Carson Schulenberg, Bentley Fisher, great-grandchildren, Matthew, Thomas and Tucker Tollefson, baby girl Gryder (June 2025). He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Paul and Dickie and a sister, Kay Adams.

A memorial service will be held at Riverside Fellowship Church in Rulo on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Reverend David Showalter officiating.
