Paul Ernst

Paul Ernst, 68, of Rulo, NE, passed away July 7, 2024 at Rulo. He was born August 12, 1955 at Falls City, NE to Wilbur and Mary (Wilke) Ernst.

Paul was raised at Rulo and graduated Falls City High School in 1974. Following graduation he attended and graduated from Southeast Community College at Milford as a Diesel Mechanic in 1976. He then went to work for a large feed yard in Colorado before returning to and working as a diesel mechanic for Gary Spann. In 1980 he went to full time farming and has farmed since. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.

Paul is survived by his brothers, Eric and his wife Tammy, Craig and his wife Cheryl and Bruce and his wife Jolynda, all of Rulo, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a nephew, Ben Ernst.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, plants or other items, the family prefers memorials be made to Falls City Rural Volunteer Fire Department.
