Randy Murphy

Randy Murphy, 60, of Falls City, NE, passed away December 21, 2023 at Lincoln, NE. He was born July 8, 1963 at Falls City to Donald and Patricia (Spurgin) Murphy.

He married Dawn Honea-Pearce on July 25, 1989 at Holt County, MO and they divorced on October 23, 2002.

Randy was raised in Falls City and played drums for the County Rockets which was a band consisting of him and his parents. He also played drums for Dusty Blue Band and he retired in 1992 after a debilitating car accident.

Randy is survived by a daughter, Myranda Murphy, parents, Don and Pat Murphy, brother, Donnie all of Falls City, sisters, Brenda Guilliams and her husband Dave of Falls City, Debbie Shefferd and her husband Dave of Fairview, KS and a grandson, Drake.

Randy has been cremated and services will be held at a later date.
