Ruby Boyd, 91, of Falls City, NE, passed away July 9, 2025 at Falls City. She was born June 27, 1934 at Peru, NE to

Charles and Nellie (Cooper) Tishner

She married Vernon Boyd on March 12, 1954 at Nebraska City, NE. He passed away June 12, 1996

Ruby was raised at Peru and attended Peru Public Schools. Following her schooling, she worked for Campbell Soup in Tecumseh and when married the couple lived in rural Humboldt where she was a homemaker and farm wife and helped the Philips Brothers farm. They then moved to Loveland, CO and to Falls City in 1981. She worked for Camp Rulo and Ye Old Time Saloon and has lived in Falls City since.

Ruby is survived by her children, Johnny Boyd of Newark, OH, Wanda Parrish of Sabetha, KS and her son Drue Miller, nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Lonnie, granddaughter, Alisha Miller, brothers, George, John and Paul, sisters, Mary Warner, Ritta Williams and Opal Davis

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Rulo Cemetery with Pastor Tim Boatright officiating.

Ruby has been cremated, no viewing or visitation.
