Ruth Graves

Ruth Graves, 97, of Falls City, NE, passed away December 6, 2023 at Falls City. She was born April 26, 1926 at Hiawatha, KS to Lester and Dorothy (Carr) Peck.

She married Joe Graves on March 6, 1946 at Hiawatha. He passed away November 28, 1993.

Ruth spent most of her life in Richardson County Nebraska and was a long-time resident of Salem, NE until moving into Falls City in 2007. She worked for many years at Salem Café. She was a member of the First Brethren Church at Falls City.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Nancy Chandler and her husband Mike of Salem, Patricia Rieschick and her special friend Mike Harson of Falls City, Beverly Chesnut and her husband Larry of Falls City, Barbara Brown and her husband Tony of Salem, brother, Larry Peck of Spokane, WA, thirteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great-grandchildren and twenty-four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Roland “Bobo”, brothers, Billy in infancy, Don and Gerald Peck and a son-in-law, Dennis Rieschick.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, December 11, 2023 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Fay Ann Blaylock officiating. Interment will be in Maple Cemetery.
