Sharon Eckard

Sharon Gayle Eckard née Hazelwood, 82, of Falls City, NE, died on Sunday, January 23, 2022, in Falls City. She was born on February 27, 1939, to Roy and Winifred (Winnie) Hazelwood at the Falls City Community Hospital.

Sharon was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Krista, her parents, sisters, Gwena Garrett and Lolita, her sister in infancy. She is survived by her siblings, Myrna Nixon of Tonganoxie, KS and Robert “Bob” Hazelwood of Tahlequah, OK, son, Zackery Eckard of Falls City, daughters, Lori and son-in-law Tom Thomas of Holt, MO, Tanyia and son-in-law Douglas Benner of Kearney, MO, grandchildren, Janson Thomas of St. Louis, MO, Mariah Thomas of Kansas City, MO, Kanyah and spouse Kimberly Salas of Blue Springs, MO, and Zeb Benner of Kansas City, MO.

A private interment of ashes will be held at Cornelison Cemetery in Reserve, KS. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
