Terry Tisdel

Terry Tisdel, 71, of Falls City, NE, passed away June 22, 2022 at Falls City. He was born January 3, 1951 at Falls City to Wayne and Darlene (Rieschick) Tisdel.

He married Linda Halterman on August 23, 1972 at Independence, MO

Terry was raised at Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1969. When he was 19 he took employment with Union Pacific Railroad, he worked his way to becoming a conductor and in 2011 he retired after 41 years. He enjoyed spending time at his cabin, hunting and fishing. He was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church at 20th and Towle St., he was a 50-year member of Falls City Elks Lodge and the NRA.

Terry is survived by his wife, Linda of Falls City, children, Traci Carpenter and her husband Josh of Falls City, T. C. and his wife Randee of Falls City, Tammy Burns and her husband Gary of St. Joseph, MO, Kenny Schawang and his wife Michell of Verdon, NE, nineteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 from 6-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
