Vickie Oliver

Vickie Oliver, 70, of Dawson, NE, passed away October 5, 2025 at Dawson. She was born February 7, 1955 at Parkston, SD to Robert and Velvajane (Weisz) Sopoci

She married David Oliver in 1973 at Falls City. He passed away November 12, 2020.

Vickie was raised at Shubert and graduated Southeast Consolidated High School in 1973. When married the couple made their home in Shubert and then moved to Lake Charles, LA where she worked as a retail clerk in different stores before moving back to the Dawson area in 2015, where she has lived since.

Vickie is survived by her son, Corey and his wife Tracy of Dawson, brother, Kevin Sopoci of Falls City, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Randy Lee Sopoci, daughter, Mandy Oliver and two grandchildren in infancy.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Shubert Community Building.

Memorials are suggest to Dorr and Clark Funeral Home to help offset funeral costs.
