Virginia Stice

Virginia M. Stice, 93, of Rulo, NE, passed away October 7, 2019 at Rulo. She was born March 10, 1926 at Salem, NE to Orville and Minnie (Roland) Roberts. 

She married Otho L. Stice on March 1, 1947 at Troy, KS. He passed away March 7, 1993.

Virginia was raised at Rulo and graduated Rulo High School in 1943. Following graduation she worked for the United States Post Office. When the couple married they made their home in Rulo. She was a homemaker and helped her husband farm. Later in life she worked at Daycares. Her life centered around taking care of her and other people’s kids. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church at Rulo.

Virginia is survived by her sons, Loral of Plato, MO, Robert and his wife Arlene of Downing, MO, James and his wife Judy of Montgomery, AL, Otho Ray and his wife Ulla of Home, AK, Rex and his wife Cindy of Fruitland, ID, Rick of Plato, Randy and his wife Joan E. of Falls City, Donnie and his wife Julie of Falls City, daughters, Dorothy Kelley and her husband Terry of Broken Arrow, OK, Debbie Sheffered of Falls City, Linda Catlett and her husband Mark of Stella, NE, Pat Murphy and her husband Jim of Falls City, Virginia Ernst of Omaha, Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law, Leona Stice of Joplin, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons, Vernon and Charles, daughter, Rose Conrad, sister, Florence and a brother, Lawrence.

The body of Virginia Stice has been cremated. Private family graveside services will be held at a later date. Family and friends may sign the guest book during regular business hours at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
