There are so many memories I have of Dan. All good for sure! One of the few things I would do over from High School would be Fiddler on the Roof. He was my Tevye to my Golda! We had so much fun! Am very happy for him knowing that he is in the presence of our Lord and is in pain no more! Dear Kopetzky family, my prayers and thoughts are with you all!

Many years have passed since I have seen or talked to you but I remember some special times we shared as I was "doing your hair". I remember Steve and you sharing some of your precious memories with me. Now I am sad to know about Daniel's passing. They were both way too young but we know that life is part of God's plan. My heart goes out to you in Dan's passing. Though it has been too many years since last we spoke, I will remember Dan as a very intelligent, kind soul and a friend, and know he will be missed. I believe it might have been Dec. 1975 when a bunch of us musicians (including some Dan BIrd, Rick Hillyard, and others) played a show at Prichard Auditorium called, "The Gathering". That was the first time ever that I was onstage with a sound engineer mixing the show. That engineer was Dan Kopetzky, and he did a good job. Rest in peace, friend.

Danny was one of my first boyfriends in first grade at Sacred Heart!! His family along with mine have many shared memories as we were growing up..... prayers are spent for your entire family.
