Evelyn and Joan, many years have passed since we have seen your family but I so remember your mother and dad and family as I was growing up. Many times your family came to my grandmother Carrie Vonderschmidt's house. Many July 4th' s were spent together with fireworks and home made ice cream. Dennis was fun to be around . Please accept our genuine sympathies in your loss. Dennis was a true and steady friend and an outstanding steward on the land he loved so deeply. My own parents thought of him almost as another son, and his efforts on behalf of the Merz family will ever be remembered. He was a dedicated spouse, parent , grandparent and an outstanding citizen who will be greatly missed.
