Truly a wonderful lady and what a blessing to live to be 103. My parents(George & Ruth Bauer) were great friends of Herman & Elva. They played cards, took a trip to Colorado (left the kids at home), attended church together and had many great evenings with family. When visiting Nebraska I always visited Elva and when she could we would have Breakfast(brunch) or lunch. I'm sure heaven is happy to receive this fine Christian women.

Dear Elva's family
Please accept our sincere condolences on Elva's passing. She was one of my favorite aunts, and I will never forget the delicious farm cooked meals she made when our family visited many years ago. She was a wonderful and giving person who deserved the long life she enjoyed.
