Fern was my grade school teacher from at least my 5th grade to the 8th grade. She was a very good, kind, and caring teacher. I have many fond memories of those school days. I really appreciated the good education that she instilled in me during those early years of my life.

Always enjoyed Fern when I would visit Gale in the nursing home. Her last years have been difficult. Your family was always faithful in coming to see her. My sympathy to each of you.
