Kent Taylor

Kent Taylor, 53, of Beatrice, NE (formerly of Falls City, NE), passed away November 20, 2014 at Beatrice, NE. He was born February 16, 1961 at Omaha, NE to Irene (Selken) Taylor and the late John E. Taylor.

Kent moved to Falls City in 1962 and then to the Beatrice State Developmental Center at Beatrice at the age of 5. While there he attended school, participated in Special Olympics, worked in the Workshop and volunteered at the Humane Society. His favorite place to shop was WalMart and his favorite place to eat was Valentinos. He loved music and Husker softball, volleyball and football and NASCAR races. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

Kent is survived by his mother, Irene of Falls City, brothers, Greg and Gary both of Adrian, MO, sisters, Pam Lovelace and her husband Mark of Adrian, Beth Taylor of Falls City, nieces, nephew, great-nieces, great-nephews and all his family and friends at Beatrice State Developmental Center. He was preceded in death by his father.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Steele Cemetery with Reverend Daniel Gifford officiating.
