Lee, Denny, Nancy, Laura, Patty, Richie, Diane. Your Mom was a fabulous lady. Always happy and laughing. Lots of friends. Often, in FD, I'd get asked "Are you related to Mickey Rodenborn?" May she RIP.

My Love and Prayers to all of you at the loss of a wonderful Mother, Aunt, Friend.
Mickey was special and so was Phil. They both were very generous to me when I was in Denver going to school.
My love and Prayer from all the Sisters, from both our Monasteries.

What sad, sad news I received this weekend from my mom and sister Karla, that our favorite Aunt had passed away. Growing up in Fort Dodge, Iowa, my family spent almost every weekend with Aunt Mickey, Uncle Phil and our fun, crazy cousins. Wonderful, wonderful memories!!! Aunt Mickey always made everyone who came into her home feel welcome and loved. She had a beautiful way of communicating, in her raspy sweet voice, comforting words that would be meant just for me. I'll never forget, thank you! To all my sweet cousins and family members, my heart, love, and thoughts are with you during this tough time. Take care.

We are so saddened by the passing of this beautiful lady. We loved her as our own, even referred to her as "Grandma Burch". We will miss her so very much, even though it was mostly through media that we got to communicate with her recently. We send all of you our love and prayers. Because of her love and extreme pride of all of you, we know she will be watching over you all from this day forward. May God comfort all of you in your time of loss.

Aunt Mickey was such a beautiful lady inside and out. She was always so funny and so loving. I still tell the story she told me about the illusion of a clean house, she said "Shelley just leave the vacuum up in the living room, it looks like your right in the middle of cleaning." She shared her wisdom of having fun with the kids, that the house will always need to be cleaned, but the time with kids are the most precious. She was a great story teller, bright and so loving, I loved watching her interact with everyone with such kindness. I will miss her dearly and was so fortunate to have seen she and Phil together, they had an amazing marriage. .

Oh I was so sad when I saw your Mom had passed... She was the sweetest lady. Always so nice to see her when she came to get her haircut. And was just a breath of fresh air seeing her big smile on her face, even if I could see in her eyes it was a tough day. I will miss her dearly!! Know my thoughts and
prayers are with you all.
