We are saddened to hear of Merle's passing. We had to chance to visit with him at Thanksgiving and shared some great memories of our time in CAP. We won't be able to attend the funeral and wanted you to know that you are in our prayers. The fond memories of those who touched our lives will never be forgotten.

Karen, Jen, Mike, & Matt,
Merle was a great uncle. He would always share his wisdom and I always enjoyed his memorable stories. He was the one we always went to for that trivial pursuit question. I still remember watching the Benny Hill show with him and shooting fireworks on the fourth of July. He always had the best ones from Rockport. I always looked forward to spending time with the Joys during the summer. Merle always made sure we had fun but didn't do something stupid. I,m glad that he got to see our home during the reunion and he shared more of his stories. We are sorry that we cant be there in this time of mourning. We are thinking of you all during this hard time. We love you all. Brad & Julie
