Paul was my Great uncle. My Grandmother Ada Cathrine's brother.
I just subscribed to ancestry.com tonight and was trying to find out if he was still alive. I went to visit him in Rulo with my brother in 1990 just before his mother passed away and lost contact over the years.
I am saddened to hear of his passing.

So sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I remember meeting him when he picked Rulo as his home when he left Kansas City. He was a good friend to my folks. Paul used to go to the Farmers Market in K.C. and buy produce and then drive around to all his friends and give it all away. We had many fruits and veggies given to us by Paul. He used to have New Years Parties at his house and he served Black eyed peas claiming it would bring good luck in the new year if we ate them. He had a tough exterior but a heart of gold. RIP Paul Reunited with his mother in heaven.

We will miss seeing Paul. Everyday I would ask him how he was and his answer would be "sleepy". My grandkids are going to miss him, we were looking forward to celebrating his birthday with him. You will be missed Paul!
