Terry Rue

Terry Rue, 64, of Wilber, NE (formerly of Falls City, NE), passed away November 24, 2016 at Lincoln, NE. He was born August 10, 1952 at Humboldt, NE to the late Ranselaer and Bernice (Crews) Rue.

On March 22, 1989 he married Sheila Pilkington at Falls City.

Terry was raised at Falls City and attended Falls City Public Schools and the enlisted in the U. S. Army on April 1, 1971 and was honorably discharged on May 1, 1973. Following his discharge he returned to Falls City and worked construction at various places in the Midwest, he also worked at Flairfold Shutter Factory at Hiawatha, Woodings at Falls City and in 1994 he moved to Wilber and he worked for American Tool at Beatrice and then was a custodian for Crete Elementary School for the last 9 years. He retired due to his health in 2016.

Terry is survived by his wife, Sheila of Wilber, sons, John White of Wilber, Trevor and his wife Lacy of Filley, NE, brothers, Richard of Falls City, Larry and his wife Marcia of Wilber, sisters-in-law, Pam Rue of Falls City, Jackie Rue of Crete, NE, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ronnie and Doug, sisters, Patty Coolen and Karen Schulenberg and a daughter, Heather Rue Blanton.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Dave Lockard officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery. Military graveside honors by Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
