Beverly Torkelson

Beverly Torkelson, 79, of Falls City, NE, passed away November 14, 2014 at Falls City, NE. She was born October 23, 1935 at Salem, NE to the late Floyd and Ruth (Darby) Shaw.

She married Lawrence Torkelson on August 25, 1955 at Falls City.

Beverly moved to Falls City at the age of 8 and when married established her home in California. She returned to Falls City in 1978 and worked at the Hotel Stephenson as a desk clerk. She was a member of First Christian Church at Falls City.

Beverly is survived her son, Steven of Bakersfield, CA, daughters, Londha Anderson and her husband Gary of Bakersfield, Ruth RaNae Pionke and her husband Michael of Topock, AZ, sister-in-law, JoEtta Shaw of Falls City, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Arlis Shaw in infancy and brothers, LeRoy and Donald Shaw.

A private inurnment will be held in Maple Cemetery at Salem, NE.
