Louise Volz, 83, of Falls City, NE, passed away January 23, 2015 at Falls City with her family present. She was born April 15, 1931 at DuBoise, NE to the late Mike and Emma (Habegger) Stalder.
On July 14, 1950 she married Kenneth Volz and they later divorced.
Louise was raised at DuBois and graduated DuBois High School in 1949. When married the couple established their home in DuBois and then moved to Falls City in 1965 where they owned laundry mats in Falls City and Humboldt. She also worked at Fireside Inn for 25 years. She then worked for In –Home-Health and retired in 1996.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Carol Mackey of Falls City, Jackie Wilhelm and her husband Perry of Falls City, Debbie Ault and her husband Doug of Brainard, NE, son, Michael of Lincoln, NE, five grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Weinert officiating.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
