Earl Dallas

Earl Dallas, 74, of Verdon, NE, passed away December 7, 2014 at Humboldt, NE. He was born November 6, 1940 at Dalhart, TX to the late Desmond and Juanita (Morrison) Dallas.

On September 20, 1990 he married Sharon Casias at Falls City, NE.

Earl was raised at Clayton, NM and graduated from the Clayton High School. In 1962 he graduated from York Community College at York, NE with a Physical Education Degree and a coaching endorsement. He taught and coached in Hampton, York, coached Girls Basketball at McCool, Dawson-Verdon and then at Falls City High School.  He retired in 2004. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church and  the Elk’s Lodge at York, NE.

Earl is survived by his wife, Sharon of Verdon, daughters, Corrine Martin and her husband Mike of Lincoln, NE, Samantha Dallas of Verdon, son Quintan and his wife Denise of Lincoln, step-children, Robert Aragon of Texas, Jessica Aragon of Trinidad, CO, brothers, Dwayne of Texas, George and his wife Pauline of Lakewood, CO, David and his wife Carolyn of Noble, OK, sisters, Ada Jean Burrows and Jeannine Thompson and her husband Leonard both of Denver, and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Phil and a sister, Nitalee Zinck.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 10:30 AM at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church with Wanda Biel officiating. Interment will be in Verdon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
